Custom die-cut vinyl stickers for artists, indie brands, bands, podcasters, retail shops, and anyone making sticker merch. Printed in the USA on 6mil vinyl with a protective laminate to prevent UV fading, die-cut to the precise shape of your artwork, and ready to ship in 7 to 10 days from proof approval.

Alchemy is a production partner built by artists, musicians, and brand owners. We've helped creators produce over 5 million custom products since 2019, and we don't operate like a promotional products company. Whether you're an indie illustrator running your first 50-piece drop, a band making merch for a tour, or a designer ordering for a brand launch, our job is the same: make the best merch we can for you.

What die-cut vinyl stickers actually are

Die-cut means the sticker is cut to the precise outline of your artwork rather than to a standard rectangle or circle. The result is a sticker shaped like your design, with no white border or background unless you want one. Vinyl is the durable, waterproof material that makes the sticker survive water bottles, laptops, car windows, and outdoor exposure for years.

Every die-cut sticker is finished with a protective laminate to prevent UV fading and surface wear, ensuring the colors hold up. EZ peel scoring on the back is included by default, which makes the sticker easier to remove from the backing without damaging the artwork.

Finish: semi-gloss or matte laminate

Semi-gloss

Shiny, rich finish that lets colors pop. The total sticker thickness is 6mil (the vinyl is 2.8mil and the laminate adds 3.2mil on top). The most common finish for stickers where vivid color is the priority.

Matte

Softens colors and minimizes glare. Reads more sophisticated and refined; better for designs where you don't want a shiny, glossy finish reflecting the room. Same 6mil total thickness.

Both finishes are weather-resistant outdoor-grade vinyl. The choice is mostly aesthetic.

How a sticker run actually works

Most orders start with a quote, not a cart. You send us your artwork (vector preferred, raster works too if it's high-resolution), and we come back with pricing, a production timeline, and any production notes within a business day or two. We'll flag anything in the file that won't translate well at print size before we move forward.

From proof approval, vinyl stickers ship in 7 to 10 days because they're produced in the USA, not overseas. That's significantly faster than custom merchandise that has to come from an overseas factory. Shipping is express and included in the price.

If you have a hard deadline, tell us before you order. We don't charge rush fees. We'll either confirm we can hit your date or tell you up front that we can't, so you can plan around it.

Why our vinyl sticker minimum is 50

Vinyl stickers are produced in the USA, so we're not running into the same overseas factory minimums that drive the 50-piece floor on enamel pins or keychains. The 50-piece sticker minimum exists because each design needs its own print setup, color calibration, cut path, and laminate run. Below 50, the per-piece cost climbs sharply because the setup gets amortized over too few units. Larger runs (100, 250, 500, 1000 and up) bring the per-piece price down meaningfully.

One sticker rule that's different from our other products: each order is a single design. We can't combine multiple designs into one order. If you have three designs at 50 each, that's three separate orders.

Who we work with

Artists running their own work: illustrators, bands, indie brand owners, podcasters, comic creators, convention sellers. Designers ordering for a brand launch, an event, a campaign, or a customer giveaway. Agencies and design studios producing merch for their clients. Merch companies running production for the artists they represent. The common thread is that the merch matters: it's representing a brand, a band, an artist, or a project that someone cares about.

Common questions

How long do these stickers last?

Outdoor lifespan of 3 to 5 years with normal use. Apply to clean, dry surfaces and avoid prolonged exposure to harsh weather for best results. Indoor use (laptops, water bottles, journals) lasts essentially indefinitely.

Are they waterproof?

Yes. Vinyl + laminate makes them fully waterproof. They survive water bottles in the dishwasher, rain, snow, hand-washing, and outdoor exposure.

Can I split my order across multiple designs?

No. Each order is a single design only. We can't combine multiple designs into one production run because each design needs its own print setup, color calibration, and cut path. Three designs at 50 stickers each = three separate orders.

What sizes can you make?

We can produce nearly any size you need, from small (~1.5") up to large window or laptop-sized stickers. The Variants dropdown shows our most-ordered sizes; for anything outside that, email us with your size and quantity for a custom quote.

What's the difference between semi-gloss and matte?

Semi-gloss is shiny and lets colors pop with maximum vibrancy. Matte softens colors and reduces glare, reading more sophisticated. Both are 6mil total thickness with the same UV-resistant laminate; the difference is purely aesthetic.

What artwork format works best?

Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) are ideal because they scale cleanly for any size. High-resolution raster (300 DPI at print size) also works well. PNG with transparent background is fine if that's what you have.

How does the die-cut work for shapes with holes?

The cut follows the outer outline of your design. If your design has interior cutouts (like a donut shape with a clear center), we can cut those too. Tell us in your order notes if you want any specific interior cutouts; otherwise we'll cut to the outer outline only.

How long does a sticker run take?

7 to 10 days from proof approval to your door, including express shipping. Significantly faster than overseas products because they're made in the USA.

Do I see a proof before production?

Yes. Digital proof for review before printing. Revisions until you approve.
