What holographic stickers actually are
Holographic stickers use a reflective vinyl substrate that catches light and shifts color across the spectrum as you tilt the sticker. The base material has the rainbow effect built in; we print your full-color design on top, and the holographic shine shows through unprinted areas (or in subtle highlights through translucent ink layers). The result is a sticker that reads dynamic, eye-catching, and slightly luxe.
Holographic works especially well on designs with negative space (so the rainbow shine has somewhere to play), darker artwork (so the holographic effect contrasts), and brands where the visual flash is part of the appeal. How a sticker run actually works
Most orders start with a quote, not a cart. You send us your artwork (vector preferred, raster works too if it's high-resolution), and we come back with pricing, a production timeline, and any production notes within a business day or two. We'll flag anything in the file that won't translate well at print size before we move forward.
From proof approval, vinyl stickers ship in 7 to 10 days because they're produced in the USA, not overseas. That's significantly faster than custom merchandise that has to come from an overseas factory. Shipping is express and included in the price.
If you have a hard deadline, tell us before you order. We don't charge rush fees. We'll either confirm we can hit your date or tell you up front that we can't, so you can plan around it.
Why our vinyl sticker minimum is 50
Vinyl stickers are produced in the USA, so we're not running into the same overseas factory minimums that drive the 50-piece floor on enamel pins or keychains. The 50-piece sticker minimum exists because each design needs its own print setup, color calibration, cut path, and laminate run. Below 50, the per-piece cost climbs sharply because the setup gets amortized over too few units. Larger runs (100, 250, 500, 1000 and up) bring the per-piece price down meaningfully.
One sticker rule that's different from our other products: each order is a single design. We can't combine multiple designs into one order. If you have three designs at 50 each, that's three separate orders.

Common questions
How does the holographic effect work?
The vinyl substrate has a holographic pattern built into it. As you tilt the sticker under light, the pattern shifts through rainbow colors. Your printed artwork sits on top of that shimmering base, with the holographic effect visible in unprinted areas and (subtly) through translucent ink layers.
Will the holographic effect show through my full-color design?
The effect is most visible in unprinted (clear) areas of your sticker, where the holographic vinyl shows directly. Heavily printed areas read mostly as your full-color art, with subtle holographic shine. Designs that leave deliberate negative space get the most dramatic effect.
How long do holographic stickers last?
Outdoor lifespan of 3 to 5 years with normal use. Same as our standard vinyl stickers. Indoor use lasts indefinitely.
Are they waterproof?
Yes. The protective laminate makes them fully waterproof and weather-resistant. Survive water bottles, laptops, outdoor application.
Can I split my order across multiple designs?
No. Each order is a single design only. Three designs at 50 stickers each = three separate orders.
What sizes can you make?
We can produce nearly any size from small (~1.5") up to large display sizes. The Variants dropdown shows our most-ordered sizes; for anything outside that, email us with your size and quantity for a custom quote.
What artwork format works best?
Vector (AI, EPS, PDF) is ideal because it scales cleanly for any sticker size. High-resolution raster (300 DPI at print size) also works. CMYK is preferred but we'll convert from RGB and proof carefully — colors will shift slightly during conversion and we want to make sure the holographic effect lands where you want it.
