How a run actually works

Most orders start with a quote, not a cart. You send us your artwork (vector, raster, sketch, Procreate file, whatever you have), and we come back with pricing, a production timeline, and any production notes within a business day or two. We'll flag anything in the file that won't translate well at production size before we move forward, so you're not surprised at proof.

From proof approval, most overseas products are 7 to 10 days to your door for wooden pins (about a month for our overseas products). That's the nature of producing 100% custom merchandise overseas vs. shipping a stock promotional item. Shipping is express and included in the price.

If you have a hard deadline, tell us before you order. We don't charge rush fees. We'll either confirm we can hit your date or tell you up front that we can't, so you can plan around it.

Why our minimum is 25

Wooden pins are the one pin product we make in smaller runs. They're produced at our US wood shop instead of overseas, which means we're not running into the same factory labor minimums that set the 50-piece floor on enamel. 25-piece runs are economically reasonable here in a way they wouldn't be for enamel. Good place to start if you're testing a design, doing a small convention drop, or want to see how a wood pin reads against your art before scaling up. Per-pin price still comes down meaningfully on larger runs.

How much do custom wooden pins cost?

Depends on size, complexity, and quantity. Small runs (25 to 50) are priced per-piece higher than larger runs since we're amortizing setup over fewer pieces. Email us your design and rough quantity and we'll come back with a quote within a business day or two.

Are wooden pins really made in the USA?

Yes. Cherry wood from US mills, cutting and printing at our US wood shop, shipped from a US warehouse. Our wooden pins and our stickers are the products we make in the US. Our enamel and UV pins are produced overseas at long-vetted factories.

What artwork works well in wood?

Bold designs, illustration, logo work, and anything with strong contrast read well on wood. Very fine line work or designs that depend on metallic highlights don't translate as well. Send us the artwork and we'll tell you honestly whether wood is the right choice or whether you'd be happier in metal. We'd rather redirect you than sell you a wood pin you'll be unhappy with.

Can I get a wooden pin in non-cherry wood?

We standardize on cherry because it's the species we've dialed in for color, durability, and grain consistency. Other species are possible for larger custom orders; ask if you have a specific request.

How long do wooden pins take?
