What a single-sided acrylic standee is
An acrylic standee is a flat acrylic piece (cut to the outline of your design) that slots into a coordinating base, letting it stand upright on a shelf, table, or display surface. Single-sided means your artwork is printed on one face of the acrylic. The back is plain solid white, which keeps the standee retail-finished even when viewed from behind without paying for a second print.

Sizing and pricing
Pricing is based on total size — pick a height first, then a width. The "size" includes a 3mm bleed of clear acrylic around the edge of your art (6mm total when counting both left and right edges), which is a manufacturing requirement to keep the cut clean. So a 6" standee will have your artwork at about 5.75" plus the clear acrylic edge.
If your artwork falls between two of our listed sizes (for example, 5.5"), it rounds up to the next size's pricing.

How a run actually works
Most orders start with a quote, not a cart. You send us your artwork (vector preferred for clean lines, raster works for full-color), and we come back with pricing, a production timeline, and any production notes within a business day or two. We'll flag anything in the file that won't translate well at production size before we move forward.
From proof approval, most overseas products are about a month to your door. That's the nature of producing 100% custom merchandise overseas vs. shipping a stock promotional item. Shipping is express and included in the price.
If you have a hard deadline, tell us before you order. We don't charge rush fees. We'll either confirm we can hit your date or tell you up front that we can't, so you can plan around it.
Why our minimum is 50
It's a factory math thing, not a quality stance. The factories we work with charge a labor minimum that covers setup, mold use, proofing, and the production run itself. That floor barely changes between a 25-piece and a 50-piece order, so a 25-piece run costs almost the same as 50 with half the output. 50 is where the per-piece price actually starts to make sense.
We can run smaller hard sample runs if you really need to (the factory will do it), but it's not financially viable for most people: you're paying close to 50-piece pricing for a fraction of the output. If you're set on a small run, email us first and we'll walk through whether it's worth it. Larger runs (100, 200, and up) bring the per-piece cost down meaningfully.

Common questions
What does the back of a single-sided standee look like?
Solid white. Clean and retail-finished, but no artwork. If the back will be visible to customers (open shelves, rotating displays, glass cases viewed from multiple angles), consider two-sided standees where both faces carry artwork.
Why does the size include a 3mm bleed?
The factory needs clear acrylic around the edge of your printed design to keep the die-cut clean. This is a manufacturing requirement, not an option. We handle it in file prep so you don't need to design around it. The bleed reads as clear acrylic by default.
Can I do custom sizes outside the listed options?
Yes, but pricing rounds up to the next listed size if your dimensions fall between standard sizes. For sizes significantly outside our listed range, email us for a custom quote.
What artwork format works best?
High-resolution raster (300 DPI or better at print size) with transparent background. PSD or PNG. Vector files also work. The print is CMYK; RGB converts and we proof carefully.
Will the print scratch off?
The print is sealed and protected on the back side of the front acrylic layer, with the white back layer behind it, so the artwork is sandwiched between two protective surfaces. The outer acrylic surface itself can scratch over time with very heavy use, but the print stays intact.
How long do standee orders take?
About four weeks from proof approval to your door, including express shipping. No rush fees.
Do I see a proof before production?
Yes. Digital proof showing layout and bleed before production. Revisions until you approve.
Are these made in the USA?
Acrylic standees are produced overseas at long-vetted factories. Our team is US-based and handles file prep, proofing, and customer success. Our wooden products and stickers are made in the USA.
