Acrylic Charms - Specialty Plastics
Acrylic Charms - Specialty Plastics
Acrylic charms are a great way to show your full color art on a product used daily, most often as keychains. Pick from a solid, glitter, fluorescent, marble plastics and more. Choose between single sided (most common to show off the plastic on the back), or double sided (added cost). Please Click the tabs below to see mock ups of the colors and photos. If you'd like an option not in the dropdown list, please write in the code.
Hardware is included and comes attached.
Adding Glitter Epoxy will go on top of the front side print. Holographic is not an option on these like it is on a standard acrylic charm. You can also choose to add epoxy without glitter as well if you'd like a thicker sheen to your charm.

FAQS
Can I print on both sides?
Yes. This style is more often done single sided, but you can choose to print on both sides for an added cost.
If I do two designs of 50 pieces each, are they combined and priced as 100?
No, each individual design will require its own quote and cannot be combined.
Can I choose more than one color of plastic?
Yes, but we need a minimum of 50 per color. An order of 100 could be 50/50 with two colors of plastic such as 50 on a red and 50 on a blue as long as it's the same artwork.
Can charms have cutouts in the middle?
Unfortunately, they cannot. However, you can leave spots intentionally transparent in your design. E.g: A donut design where the hole in the center is just the plastic you'd picked.
Does two sided printing need to be the same design on both the front and back of the charm?
No they do not. They should fit into the overall shape of the front side though. Assuming you choose an opaque plastic color, the back side art's shape does not need to match the front, but it does need to fit within it. If you are choosing a translucent, clear or lighter glitter plastic, it's advisable to make the shapes on the front and back match.
Can designs be die cut to the edge of the artwork?
No they cannot. There must always be an acrylic bleed between the edge of the charm and the artwork. That bleed is 2.5mm. We will assign this for you in your file, so no need to worry about it.
Are there different types of finishes for acrylic charms? (E.G: Glitter, holo)
Epoxy: A layer of epoxy is placed on the tip of a single acrylic board charm.
Glitter Epoxy: Glitter is mixed in with the epoxy above, and brushed onto the charm.
How long do they take to get made?
On average it's about 4 weeks
What kinds of attachment options do I have?
We have a list of attachments in stock, but if you are looking for something specific, please show us an image and we can most likely find it.

What file format should I submit my design as?
A large, 300 DPI image saved as PSD or PNG with a transparent background is ideal. However, we can work with what you have. A large high quality image can also work and Vector is always ok.
Do I need to mirror text if it is on the back side of a design?
If you are choosing an opaque plastic color, the back side art does not need to mirror exactly. If you are wanting to do double sided and the back is a mirror of the front, the text does need to be re-done to face the right direction.
