Frequently asked questions about custom tote bag production
Do I see a proof before they get made?
The factory will create a physical sample for you to review before full production begins. If we have an approval, they schedule the full run, but if we need changes, we can request them and get a new samples until you approve.
How long do tote bags take to make? And can you do rush orders?
Most totes take about 4-5 weeks from submission to shipment.
If you have a rush order, please email us and we will find out if it is doable for you.
What happens after I order?
We will email you back confirming all details work as intended and then get the order submitted to the factory. Within 5-7 business days, we will send over photos of a physical sample. If you approve, we can schedule the full production, or we can make changes.
Where are your products made/what’s the factory like?
Our tote bags are made in China.
Many people think that Chinese factories are “sweatshops” or that they employ child labor or other unethical practices, but that couldn’t be further from the truth- Chinese manufacturing is a sophisticated, high tech industry that involves competitive local wages and teams of skilled engineers and artisans. It is akin to - or in many cases more advanced than - manufacturing processes and facilities in the US.
Our owner has personally visited our pin factory, met the owner and even tried his hand at fabrication! Most of our other products also come from Chinese partners, except for stickers and wooden products which are made in the USA.
What happens if my order isn't made right?
We are making hand made products and things can go wrong. Any order made wrong or with issues can be either re-made or refunded with the bad product returned. We never want this to happen, but when it does, we have your back and it won't cost you anything.
Is there a discount on re-orders?
There is not on tote bags
Are there discounts if I order a lot of designs at the same time?
Yes! As long as all of the totes are a similar style (like sublimated) and size, we can combine them (min 50 per design) and price off of the total amount. An order of 200(50x4) is priced for 200, not 50 x 4.
Will my art be taken/resold/ripped off?
We have a close relationship with our factories and they have a lot more to lose than gain by using anybody’s designs for their own purposes- at our request they don’t even show our designs in their portfolio. Sadly, most times when a design is stolen, it’s actually done by stealing an image online and tracing it, so we can’t promise your design will never get copied, but we can promise our factory won’t be the ones doing it.
Are there Eco-Friendly packaging options?
Yes. We can ask for them to not be individually bagged if you prefer.
Can you do other things not listed, or other quantities?
Yes! We can make any size or quantity and do additional features like zippers, buttons, etc

Do you have templates?
Yes! We have templates for all sizes in vector and raster (photoshop, etc)

Flat Bottom Totes Template: 13" x 6" x 15" (Vector PDF + Raster PSD)
How do I use the template and set up my files?
1. Artwork needs to be AI(best)/PSD or at least PDF.
2. Resolution of artwork needs to be at least 300dpi at scale if raster. If vector, resolution doesn't matter.
3. The template shows designing as one piece, where one side is upright and the other is upside down (flipped 180) because it's one piece of fabric
4. The template also has an area to design the handles.
Can I do variants?
If we are doing sublimated totes, as long as you have 50 per design, we can combine them into the total amount ordered. An order of 100(50/50) is priced for 100, not 2 x 50
